There are diseases and injuries that cause stagnation of lymphatic and blood circulation. For these reasons, metabolic disorders may occur, potentially developing into lymphedemas. The lymphatic massage works as a pump – lymphatic vessels dilate, the lymph flow gets improved and restored. Lymphatic drainage is a painless manual method, performed by a specially trained therapist. The goal is to promote lymphatic drainage of the affected tissue using specific strokes and gentle pressure. The greatest effect is achieved when combined with machine lymphatic massage.
